⚙️ How It Works

1
Enter Your Seed
Type your Minecraft world seed — numeric or text seeds are both supported. Text seeds are hashed to their numeric equivalent automatically.
2
Choose Edition & Options
Select Java or Bedrock edition and your Minecraft version. Java and Bedrock use different noise algorithms, so edition matters.
3
Set Search Area
Define your origin coordinates and search radius. The tool scans biome noise layers in the selected area for jungle-type biomes.
4
Get Coordinates
Results show exact X/Z coordinates, distance from origin, biome type, mobs, blocks, and a rarity rating — copy coords with one click.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the Jungle Biome Finder?
The tool uses a deterministic seed-based noise algorithm that models Minecraft's climate axes (temperature, humidity, continentalness, erosion) for Java 1.18+ and Bedrock 1.18+. Results are consistent with in-game biome generation for the selected version.
Do Java and Bedrock seeds generate jungles at the same coordinates?
No. Java Edition and Bedrock Edition use different RNG and noise algorithms, so the same numeric seed will produce entirely different world shapes and biome placements. Always select the correct edition for your world.
Where do I find my Minecraft world seed?
In Java Edition, open chat and type /seed. In Bedrock Edition, go to Settings → Game → Seed, or type /seed in chat with operator permissions. You can also check the world selection screen under "Edit World."
What is the difference between Jungle, Sparse Jungle, and Bamboo Jungle?
Jungle is the classic dense biome with massive jungle trees, vines, cocoa pods, and ocelots. Sparse Jungle has fewer trees and serves as a transition zone. Bamboo Jungle is the only biome where Pandas spawn and features thick bamboo groves.
Why is the Bamboo Jungle so rare?
Bamboo Jungle can only spawn inside or adjacent to a regular Jungle. Since Jungles themselves are rare and require specific temperature and humidity noise values, Bamboo Jungle patches are doubly constrained, making them among the rarest biomes in the game.
Can I use a text string as a seed?
Yes! Minecraft converts text seeds to a 64-bit integer using Java's String.hashCode(). This tool performs the same conversion automatically, so words like "minecraft" or "jungle" work perfectly.
Does Jungle biome location change with Minecraft updates?
Yes — Minecraft 1.18 completely overhauled biome generation to use 3D noise. Seeds from 1.17 and earlier produce different biome maps than 1.18+. Within 1.18–1.21, the biome layout for a given seed stays consistent. This tool accounts for that pre/post-1.18 split.
What structures can I find in a Jungle biome?
Jungle Temples spawn inside Jungle and Sparse Jungle biomes. They contain two chests with loot including diamonds, emeralds, and enchanted books, plus booby-trap dispensers and a puzzle lever system.
